FWIW, AOL local access numbers in Houston are 5 to 1 in favor of K56 ... 5 - K56 lines, 1 - X2 line.

I have had USRX modems for some time and haven't gotten around to getting the X2 software upgrade....need to do that one of these days..

Rudy,
I wish you a wonderful holiday season. All on the thread will certainly miss your postings while you are gone.
I didn't use a :) after saying x2 is dead. My sarcasm wasn't evident.
The article that I was responding said that ASND has signed up many ISPs and that the installed base for K56Flex is 2X what x2 is.
x2 is COMS and they will be ahead of the game when it comes to getting product out for the 56K standard. They will have product out several months ahead of anyone else IMHO. Sorry for the confusion.

I hope there are volunteers to keep the "1 Stock 1 Week" platform going. If there is someone, I would be willing to help/share the duties as I know I will not always be available but it has been interesting to follow.
