BULL!!!!

You can't have inflation at 13% and expect interest rates to be anything other than higher than that! What moron bank would give out a loan at less than the pace of inflation? Bentway, you're way smarter than this! Interest rates follow inflation. Did Volcker push interest rates higher yet? Yes of course, but to suggest that interest rates were going up because of Volcker is just dead wrong and somewhat silly. You CAN NOT decouple inflation and interest rates.
