That is true and ironic:

We liberals Achilles heel is our compassion and trust. We don't like to fight, so we lead with our chin.

The Jews are a perfect example. They do not like to fight and that really hurt them during WWII.

But when they do fight, they are the best fighters in the world. The world had to pull them off the ME in 1964 and they fell 86 Syrian migs and lost not one plane. Captured Egypt in less than 6 days.

But people are seeing we have a big fight on our hands now. We thought Obama was going to lead us in that fight.

We are like that now and have been in the past e.g. TR and FDR

and now Warren and Bernie and a coalition of women, minorities, kids and liberals seem to be leading the way.
<<The "Left" in the US has been pursuing the wrong strategy for a very long time. For a group that predominantly sees itself as "intellectual," there is certainly too little strategic thinking going on. In contrast, the "Right" has been successful to a good extent because they have focused on how to tailor their message in accordance to the American ethos *and* with full consideration of the long term execution of their position. There is a reason why GOP is willing to give you a tax credit towards something rather than provide or subsidize it, even though from an accounting perspective, the two positions are mostly equivalent.>>
