Annie - now you have hurt my feelings - I said nothing about Google and Nest - I talked about the inevitable market for smart devices going way beyond a simplistic thermostats and Nest not participating... I posted some links that some here may find interesting on how easy the tech is (TI) and indicated that there are many big players like Qualcomm, Intel, Oracle, Honeywell, Broadcom etc. etc. about to enter the Nest space. No mention of Google at all. I reiterate, If Nest does not get its act together and exploit their first to market success with a myriad of enabled devices - they are going to be eaten up... So - put me on ignore, I'm not here to be touchy feely - I am a realist who invests in this stuff.
