I haven't seen SI do anything anywhere to let the world know this site exists. Hell, I have twice as many Twitter followers as the SI ID there and my numbers are considered next to nothing by popular standards there. You are right that this is a maturing investor base, many of whom have been driven off by the crazed behavior tolerated on much of SI now. Folks just have other ways to spend their time, and often other sites where they do it. I'm not sure SI is viable as a business at all without a lot of money and effort that is not evident now.
