No, they will never take responsibility for this mess. And for the lives that will almost assuredly be lost as a result of it in the near term. Nor the degradation of health care in the long term (something that has already begun).

The end justifies the means, even if we don't know how bad the end will be.

This is one time I'm taking no pleasure at all in having been right all along.
