1 - I was just responding to the guy who lived in Denmark and said $55K was rich in Denmark 2 - "median" means the middle number in a series . . not very meaningful in this discussion . . . out of 101 people, if 50 make $1,000 and 50 make $52,000 .. then the 1 that makes $51,000 would be the median . . . however, the mean (average) of $27K would show that those making above $50K would be rich. 3 - you see how statistics and surveys can be used to push a point of view. skoold.
