ZONA!!! I'm going to pound the table on this one.

ZONA is looking like a better short than TRBO when TRBO was at 18.

I had absolutely no problem borrowing shares today. I believe this one is also going to slip back into the single digits.

I'm also confident that ZONA will turn into a "never have to cover" short - much like ZITL.

Closed today at 29 1/4.

Bill- VVUS, ZONA: I think you're right on ZONA. Also the pills by the big boys loom on the horizon. Wish I had some of that VVUS I covered in the 40s pre-split. Can't complain about the money I made though. Anyone on the thread stick it out on this one?

Sorry, couldn't help that.

Timoteo

Bill, I read the Asensio report about a week ago. Saw the CEO in CNBC evening discussion in which ZONA, VVUS and PFE participated. The only worry I have is the news from mid-November (I believe the 14th. this is around the date of Asensio's report) in which it was said that one of the large drug companies (don't recall the name right now) will license the drug. Any comments?

Pancho

Bill, Tell me something. Is this the main thing in their pipeline. Last time I have heard phentolamine mentioned was 20 years ago in pharmacy school. This has to be a joke, right?

BTW there has been several new drugs out Caverject and most recently MUSE by major Drug companies that are rather sucessfull in their class

Phentolamine, Nah...might as well just drink about 4 cups of coffee.

Haven't had a chance to check them out yet, just read your post. But will be up before dawn for this. Thanks

Sam

Btw, you know the most frequent question i get from males looking for a miracle that doesn"t exsist is baldness remedies (Minoxidil is the biggest joke around. Totally useless) Next is for erectile dysfunction
Males will try anything you throw at them, even toothpicks

Bill,

According to my PDR (Physicians Desk Reference), Phentolamine is also currently produced by CIBA Pharmaceuticals in injectable form. It's an anti-hypertensive which has a duration of only 19 minutes. It's primary use is in the hospital to treat temorary elevation of blood pressure. No mention in the PDR of erections as a side effect. It seems to me that CIBA could produce their own form of Vasomax if they wanted to but they haven't bothered.

Since ED has been associated with others factors such as smoking and obesity, it's reasonable to assume that many patients over 50 that might want to use Vasomax might also be on anti-hypertension drugs. I doubt that a Dr. would perscribe Vasomax to these patients since it might make them suseptable to bouts of hypo-tension. Also not a good thing. Can't you just see all these over 50 year olds passing out in the middle of sex because their blood pressure dropped too low after taking Vasomax?

I agree with your assessment of ZONA 100% and I will take a short position immediately.

Hank
