Well, one thing I DO prefer in Apple Ads is actual people, so those two Ads are OK by me.
Not quite the flair of their "1984" Ads, but we may get that today when Tim meets with the President.

Sorry I was so light on the news today, really not much out there. Yesterday's AAPL volume was light, too.
Guess the world has stopped, waiting for the CM event tomorrow.

Great video but I can't say that I like the singer.

Here is someone who feels the song is just what is needed for Christmas:

The iPhone 'Misunderstood' Christmas Ad Is A Sad Commentary On Culture And Does Apple No Favors

Everyone else seems to love it. It is being referred to as “endearing” and “touching,” eliciting a “merry little
cry.” It will “tug at heartstrings,” even. It’s a new commercial for Apple’s iPhone 5s and its AirPlay technology.

I caught it on TV last night, and I couldn’t disagree more. It’s called “Misunderstood,” as in misunderstood
teenager. I found it depressing, upsetting, and a sad commentary on our social-, video- and image-obsessed
culture.

I wonder how she REALLY felt about it.
