Looks like a useful book. Amazon has it for a whopping $36.00. But, we have a lot of words borrowed directly from many other languages besides Latin and Greek.

One of the best courses I ever had was Freshman English in high school. The teacher spent a whole quarter on Greek Roots. It's tremendously helpful and if you are conversant in the origins of words you can make good guesses at words you don't know.

That was in 1958. In Montana. Montana at the time had significantly higher SAT test scores than most other
states.

I wish I could remember her name. She was a wonderful teacher.
