The lecture was for 4 academic hours as an introduction. As I did not have a PhD in economics I could not continue to teach MBA's due to the University regulations.
To teach a lower grade did not make economic sense to me as pay was much less.
Participation was of around 35 to 40 people, all with active jobs in various companies or self employed
Some one else took over (a veteran lecturer and PhD who introduced me to the class) the course and oversaw the trading.

From what I recall no hedging people made their own decision what to buy or sell some placed limit orders. No other assistance was given, as the idea was to get their own decision and learn from mistakes.

I reviewed for some time the results I think it lasted less than 2 or 3 months. As the point of the lecture was proven through this time frame.

Interestingly some where thinking they found the "holly grail" of investing after having some profitable trades, but excitement faded quite quickly when realizing it is a full time job and not a easy one.
