Ya know, I'm beginning to think the reason AOL and YHOO have held up relatively well in this recent downdraft is a misguided notion that they function like domestic utilities, and thus are "safe harbors" from the turmoil in Asia. Sure, utilities with outsize growth projections that include foreign markets and facing an environment of contracting multiples for all that projected growth. Their day will come.
