I don't believe that. I am just saying it is necessary. I always hung around the Jews in college and learned a great lesson from them. Their culture forces everyone even remotely capable to go to college. Many hate the pressure they are under to perform academically, BUT, what I noticed are two things: 1) They are capable of very sophisticated thought as a result of their education. 2) They use what they learned in college to live their lives for the rest of their lives.. So even forced education gets results. But women seem to go to college more willingly than men, and as I think women are better for civilization this may turn out OK. <<You are under the mistaken impression that most people want to learn, know, grow, and do the right thing.
