Here is what I said; That as long as it is "profit based" it will likely fail - barring some major changes. You really think there are not major changes coming? I'd bet just about everything I have that there will be major changes coming - although a bit hard to define. What you seem to miss Alex is what I've been complaining about for years here; that the country - because of demographics - has some real major cost issues surrounding health care. I'll repeat them as apparently you have missed them; Health care is climbing faster than inflation for a very long time. Added to that singular problem is that people are living longer and so need to pay for these expenses much longer than before. That because we live longer we also need to pay for those cost, spare parts and medicine, etc. to maintain our decrepit old body. AND, I haven't even touched yet on the issue of our unhealthy lifestyle. ..........Then as if a hammer from Thor there is this.............BABY BOOMERS!!!!!! All these issues - and now maybe Obamacare too - just make health care outrageously expensive for Americans. Like Stern says; if something can't go on forever it won't.
