Negotiating 101

JHS correct me, but relationships with human beings tend to go better when you establish a respectful position rather than, say..call them criminals or pour contempt on management styles. The folks in the best position to get phone calls returned are those who create the impression that its worthwhile to call back. Confrontational is out. Disagreement works best in this guise as well. When you talk to people you also hear other things about what they are doing, their enthusiasm or boredom brings a lot more to the table. This sounds like its exploiting something but normal human beings do it naturally all the time.

Franco I think you outlined the calling thing perfectly.

Also I think that the LHSPF or Dragon business might be nice one day but its only a small part of the overall business available. Text creation is just a small part of the potential market. Yes I know that sounds just like management talking but I believe it.

Matt, there is an ASR/VR piece published by Phillips Business Information, Inc, called VOICE TECHNOLOGY & SERVICES NEWS, the last copy of which had an article about fonx and Siemens. www.telecomweb.com or www.ECToday.com

Wish I had more assets available to buy right now. Might squeeze something together tomorrow and lower my awful average.

Parx

PS this posting appears to me to be informational, a little cynical with respect to the 101 negotiating material but not hype, misleading or biassed. I admit that I do like the company and its management and think the challenge they face is very complex but perhaps not insurmountable. Its also prone in a very normal way to false starts and delay's. So much is.
