Eagerly awaiting this mornings business update conference call on RDX at 11:00AM EST. Hopefully lots of questions to probe some details on the franchising operation.

Running some hypothetical numbers on revenue growth vs. current market cap leads to some pretty startling conclusions.

After all, franchising on the bottom line is basically a means of leveraging growth by using other people's money.

RDX.V -- I was recently reminded of the fact that for a Canadian resident, the last day to sell a Canadian-traded security for a '13 capital loss is today, so the "blue light special" on RDX stock only has a few hours to go. As of the beginning of this year, this stock was almost certainly held mostly by Canadians, having a strong Canadian presence in its business and being covered by several Canadian analysts. Fast forward to today and it has virtually no Canadian presence and is covered only by a couple of Canadian analysts I believe. It would make a lot of sense that a lot of the Canadian investors would be jumping off this ship at this time.

The fact that the stock has appreciated by 33% in the last 4 trading days, mostly in response to their franchising announcement, is testament to the fact that by this point most of the Canadians who wanted out have already left. The next month or 2 should be interesting for RDX fans.

In case this is my last post until tomorrow, Merry Christmas to all!
