What I meant is the pundits are conceptually thinking the 5C is a new phone, designed to be a big seller and hence it should sell much better than the 4S sold when the 5 was introduced. Its really not a new phone, its the 5 wrapped in a cheaper case. So it should be no surprise if its ratio of sales to the 5S is not much better than the ratio the 4S sold to the 5. In addition the Android makers actually design cheap new phones that are second tier, while Apple's are just last years model.
