Don-- I am a psychologist who has met Leon Festinger a couple of times (he was abrasive) but I'll look for answers at the web site.

I agree with you that the threads are affected by cognitive disonance, and must be corrected for the "wish" factor. In fact, I have written on a precious one how we shouldn't ask our barber if we need a haircut.

Don--I looked thru the Cardio site and coudn't find answers to my questions. It seems they are a mainly conceptual company PLANNING a multi-site study of effectiveness. If you have more info, I'm receptive.
