WR, the myth is founded upon the notion that, for the uninsured relying on inefficient "ER care" for their basic health care needs, giving them basic insurance would actually be cheaper. But there is no reliable study proving that at all. The only ones that do confuse subsidized care with "cheaper," and that confusion is usually done on purpose in order to score political points.

The assumption made by ObamaCare in phasing out these DSH payments is that there will be a drastic reduction in the number of uninsured people in America, but that's putting the cart before the horse.
