Why would LinkedIn want to be like Monster?

Relative stick performance:

finance.yahoo.com

Game over.

Recruiters and companies who do not want to pay recruiters their fee are using LNKD to hire people, look for consultants etc. Besides, the LNKD professional groups have become a good means of exchange of professional ideas and also places where hiring mangers lurk and read the p osts and then contact some of the posters.

I have not experienced LNKD's paid services. But I have heard very many good things. My personal experience was when I looked up someone's profile and that person contacted me soon thereafter asking if he could help me in any way. Just this one instant of "Who viewed your profile" is a feature that Monster/Facebook does not come anywhere near I suppose.

LNKD = Prospective employees' talent pool for a monthly fee. It is more like Priceline where it has out the travel agents out of business.
