Bill,

I use a full service broker so I don't have that problem.

I use the same people for my SEP/IRA, mutual funds and all stock
trades. The few extra bucks per trade is worth all the help &
advice I get. I also trade with the same broker all the time.
Haven't had a problem yet!

I used to have a problem placing limit orders with that fraction mess with e-trade. To solve that problem, I found out that if you call up e-trade and trade with one of their brokers on the phone, he can place a limit order under any price, not just a fraction. It's strange how he can and we cannot. Good luck
