That is true and is disturbing... big mistake, IMO, to allow private prison companies who by definition have profit It not just prisons, is prisoner health care too. The Judges in California ruled that the "Dental Care" for the prison population was substandard, *(no doubt due to the percent of crystal-meth users in the prison population). So California had to spend billions more to fix the heath problems and teeth of all of their prison inmates.
