deja vu all over again Yes it does. I remember a comment from some analyst back in March of 2000, almost at the exact top of the NASDAQ, that should have been a pretty clear signal of the top. In touting an investment in some internet company or other (I forget which one, but it was one that had never made a profit and was not expected to the following year), he proclaimed that this sparkling investment was selling for (literal exact quote) "ONLY 20 times next years SALES! And now here is Twitter....selling for ONLY 35 times next years sales.
