Gold miners...I have the GDXJ Junior Miners ETF, and also PGLC Pershing Gold.
They are all definitely out of favor now, but let's see what we get in 2014 and 2015.
I think everyone needs some gold in the portfolio, IMHO.

I also like SU Suncor Energy, and TCK Teck Resources.

I own all of these stocks.

Best to all in 2014 - Happy New Year!

Sounds like my injuries. :) What's scary is that for as rotten a year that its been it could have been so much worse. Maybe the only thing that saved me from more knife catches than I tried was that I was so bloody turned off from the whole sector. I mean I've held some throughout the year but not like the beginning of the year or last year. The only thing I've held with consistency is RIO. FWIW, last week I probably stuck in 10% of my PF into these positions (forgot to mention EDV) and that effectively doubled my position and I'm not holding my breath for $1300 let's put it that way!

You know the old saying for gold investors, 'fool me 23 times and its still shame on you!' lol.

RMX continues to gain ground. With Goldcorp's offer for OSK it moves RMX a notch higher with its higher grade advanced au project in Red lake on the take over ladder.
