I think that is just an example of the money chasing a more immediate larger return. Other large factors like continuing conversion from coal to gas generation and the real potential for vehicle conversion soon would also seem to press the issue, but have not been priced in to date. The fact that NG provides immediate response generation capacity for any short term demands combined with cleanliness means it will continue to grow. As an example, does anyone know of a single user who converted a building from gas to oil heat? Power companies switching back to coal or oil?
