Barrick also ferreted out LAC minerals and is throwing in the towel on most of these projects. Munk pulled off Goldstrike w/ his proverbial horseshoes.Munk's history wasn't always that happy. Clairtone and his resort building days leave a lot of old timers gritting their teeth.

But there are big silver opportunities out there that have better %'s than the PFG deal I think -not to mention their non - adversarial nature w/ shareholders.

ITG has acquired 75% of a Ag Cu + Mn deposit - 14m t of 131-220gpt Au + 1.3% Cu + 18% Mn DRILL PROVEN with a pre-feas in hand. It's in Chile and in relative terms not far from the Pierina depoist. That's 60-100M oz Ag plus the undervalued Mn and Cu. The bulk samples came back w/ higher grades of Ag than stated here and the mine history in the was more in the 4-700gpt area.

SDD has acquired 100% of a Ag mine that has a 50M oz potential. Average grade of the mine was 100 opt. Drilling in Jan will start to bear this out - but they already know that they can start pulling out blocks of unmined rock and send them to a nearby smelter. This property is near their Promontorio property - a property that both ABX and PDG have lookedat or in the past owned and pre-feas is showing w/ a 400K oz Au equiv - which is nice - but the real deposit lies deeper down. It's an enargite deposit with characteristics that are similiar to the 7M troy oz Pierina discovery in Peru(from a report by Laurence James).Surface production will provide the fundsfor deep drilling.

Both of these stocks though are familiar to HRA readers as a few on this thread are.
Diabillos is nice - but at this point - there are a few ready to rolls - with better percentages for shareholders in areas where the majors didn't look hard enough.
