In my opinion it was a rumor floated so some big money could get out at a higher price. Only time will tell.

I would differ with you, if only because the great predominance of block trades I've seen all week have been at the ASK. Assuming block trades are, by and large, by the institutions, then they would appear to be accumulating, not selling out at a higher price.
