Well enough exchanges with intentional morons blowing smoke for one day, what other fall would we be talking about? We were also talking about why religions with empires rise & fall, spread or die, borrow from & morph out from previous ones. We see this with Christianity from Jews, Jews from Persian/Babylonian with Hellene influences later on. Then Islam from them and the wisdom we know came from the Greeks who's language & influence was the major dominate culture all over that region. (later romans) There's really not that big a mystery about the world we live in, except people within it clinging to the supernatural stories that hinge on a "historicity" that is about as dependable as you'd expect in the most backward part of Afghanistan. As you note, they fully believe in their truths to be as real as yours, yet we all note not one supernatural event has ever been witnessed since these apocalyptic times, unless you'd care to name one? There was nothing worth noting in that Temple when the Romans sacked it & burned it to the ground, no golden ark of the covenant, no signs from any God intervening. Life & the world did go on.
