I didn't know about the Dot Net. I spotted the PR release in the headlines trailer at the top of SI page and thought it interesting because of previous discussion here about bitcoin. Sort of another step towards ubiquity. I think where folk might take it up in ernest is in countries suffering from inflation, like Venezuela. But early adopters of just about anything are usually richer people and there's not very many of them so the start of the adoption is slow. I read last quarterly. Co has the usual sort of problems making survival difficult.
