Trippi, I apologize if you were under the impression I was attacking you. Obviously your post was illustrative of the Magic25 list, and my post was only trying to show people that your suggestion of DD could turn up surprises. I know that there was no disparagement intended, and I'm just contributing to provide a little more detail. Please don't stop posting on my account.

Trippi, no harm done. There's a pretty good thread going on SI on Trimble, dominated by technical types with an occasional financial type thrown in. (I'm neither.) Pretty much a 'just the facts' discussion. Aside from the usual places (like Edgar filings, Red Chip Review, SSR), it's a good place to get oriented.

PS -- Hi, CareyM.

I discussed TRMB with my broker.

He is a long-term holder of TRMB (I'm not). I asked him where will it go. His response was, "What will they earn?"

He feels mid-30's are possible or even higher. He also said it could drop like a rock (but will come back). He talked to the company about 10 days ago and is comfortable with what's going on.

And he is a very tech-knowledgeable broker. He and I are both very cautious on most computer stocks right now.

Happily Following the M25,
Duke
