I don't pay attention? Yes. I wrote two state plans and implemented those programs. Which didn't necessarily require you to pay a lot of attention to points raised by other people, and even if you did says nothing about what you doing now. But I think most of what we are debating revolves around simply caring about people. Just about none of it has anything to do with caring about people. Supporting your policy ideas != caring about people. Opposing them != not caring about people.
