No, they didn't ... they came to retrace Mawson's steps and tell us how global warming was changing things for the worse. But they couldn't go where MAwson went so they're saying global warming is trapping the disappearing sea ice which is all around them:

Sea ice is disappearing due to climate change, but here ice is building up.

What a joke this climate catastrophism is.

Sea ice is obviously NOT disappearing. Only loons would believe it. Hell, you only pretend to believe it out of loyalty to the cause.

I don't know why it is, but conservatives can't seem to grasp that it's the melting land ice that raises sea levels. You'd think they could get the concept as they drop the ice cubes into their bourbon, and see the liquid level rise, but apparently not.
