I agree that Jeff fails to act properly. He should be impartial, like a good referee or umpire. He is not. He is unsuited to this job.
---- Siber, you wrote:

I disagree with you on that. Replace him with a fair-minded host/ref and after a short time the viewers will have forgotten Jeff. Jeff has been the host of Survivor too long. He seems to have convinced himself that the game revolves around him and whatever he does that skews the play must be OK because he did it and after all the program is "Jeff Probst's 'Survivor'"
---- Oh, that's not the name? It's just 'Survivor', eh?
Get rid of Jeff. That's my recommendation.

What I don't like, and I've noticed it more and more the last few seasons, is that he's obviously been told what's been going on in the camps or has seen footage. He's now giving away too much at tribal council, giving away secrets, putting out direct quotes that were said in the "confessional", almost choreographing the vote. I'm not okay with that.

I've always felt that they "choreograph," direct and stage events. Maybe even go so far as script it. Clearly, someone is prompting them when they are sitting off by themselves and being "interviewed."

Jeff is no longer interested in the show - at least that's how he comes off to me. His commentary during the challenges is delivered more to distract than to observe. People get bored doing and saying the same thing over and over. Very hard to keep the enthusiasm in the moment. Look at Alex Trebek and Pat Sajak. They've learned how to do it because it provides a very nice living for them and they know there's nothing else out there. Jeff is too ambitious to stay in the rut he's in right now. JMHO.

I missed the finale too. Probably had been recording other things at the same time and it didn't get recorded. Oh well.
