Ann, >>"Intels had a few flat years but the trend
is eventually up. Is this the beginning of a flat trend??"

Even if this is the beginning of a flat trend, what's to worry? You're a young pup, remember? :-) INTC will turn back up, always has.

Weather out here about makes me want to run the fireplace tonight.

Driving cross country some years ago, had a steak dinner in Ogalalla (sp?) Nebraska. It was the beginning of hunting season, I think. Practically everyone in town was toting a gun.

How's that for take minds off the market gibberish?

That's all folks,

Tony

Ann, don't complain about flat yr. just if u had AMD it's dropped 50%from top. Besides intel alreay had a flat yr. 97. so we r ready to move up.

Ann, thanks for the link. I know he joked his way through the speech. That's why I said that we need more than him making light about his losses. Oh well, at least the stock seems to be stabilizing. I don't think he knows exactly what's up with the growth, so he didn't want to answer all the questions personally. It is a surprise though that he doesn't face the music and dodges.

As far as Intel is concerned it probably is still suffering under the transitions but I do believe the stock is a bargain along with some of the other techs. But it may be more hesitant to move a lot before the PII is more implemented. Dell has said they will go completely to PII. I guess we will have to wait and see. Patience is probably in order. I guess everybody will know more once the Christmas sales come in.

I did have my coffee but decided not to cry into it. gg. I hear talk again that the selling will be over soon. Maybe today we will get some buying in the techs.
