Unions are the most anti-labor organizations in existence anywhere. They protect their membership, while blocking non-members from employment. Maybe you see that as a good thing; I don't.

As to McDonalds, they will continue to cut labor until they have the same staffing as a convenience store -- 1 person, maybe 2 when they're busy. As will every other fast food chain. And it is going to happen quickly.

Walmart, same thing. There is very little in a Walmart store that can't be done by machines. With the threats of increased cost of operation, machines and technology are the way forward. These poor hourly workers you are so concerned about cannot get educations because your fucking government has made education unaffordable for them.
