True in my own family. My younger brother only went to the 8th grade and is conservative. When I would eat at his house they would eat more shit in one day than I ate in a month. Slight exaggeration, but not much of one. He also smoked and did not exercise. He has had quintuple bypass surgery and so have both of his kids.

I just got back a comprehensive blood test and it is as good as it gets. But we lefties always knew to watch our diet and exercise and take the drugs one needs to take. And both of my kids watch what they eat and exercise regularly.

I would like to see a longevity comparison between liberals and conservatives. I'll bet there is a pretty big difference.
