Judy,

Soundview didn't specify but China will not be immuned by the Asia slow down - the possibility of China devaluating its currency is very high if China wants to remain competitive in the region.

The action in NOK.a and ERICY tells me, yes, they are worried about China slow down. Almost 20% of NOK.a profit coming from China I believe.

On top of QNTM, SEG just announced it will close its Ireland plant in early 1998 due to overcapacity, pricing pressure, etc.
Only early this year, dont remember 1st Q or 2nd Q, they expanded their Ireland facilities - idiot management.

NN also breaking down, and I dont believe CSCO can be spared.
