I had a "big breakfast" at Mickey D's a couple of days ago. Waiting for it, I examined the employees. I didn't see ONE teenager. Everyone working there was an adult, most Hispanic, but a couple of whites. All of them looked to be at least 40 or older. A couple were much older, at least in their 60's.

36 percent had children. That includes people with other incomes themselves, people who have spouses with incomes, and people who are fast food management receiving much more than minimum wage.

30 percent are teens, most of the rest of the non-supervisory workers don't even fully support themselves. Its not a "living wage" for a family, but it can't reasonably be one, and usually is not the main source of support for a family.
