That may be, but with slowing Japanese PC sales (why MSFT was down today) and sub $1000 computers becoming more common, EVERYBODY'S bottom line will feel it to some degree.

But I bet you QNTM and tech in general is not through it's retracement. Several weeks back I predicted TXN at low 40 to mid to upper 30s. I'm more convinced we see 30s now than before.

My point is that irrespective of Cramer's excesses, the "Asian Contagion" is likely NOT over. Witness it's movement into financials ala JP Morgan.

And BECAUSE we won't really know for awhile, I think many will look beyond technology until the Asian dust settles, irrespective of whether select stocks fare better. Right or wrong, I think this will be a theme through Jan earnings at least, and possibly longer.
