I wouldn't consider those subsidies to Walmart, EBT purchases can be made anywhere.

But Walmart (like many other companies its not a Walmart specific thing) does recieve targeted tax breaks (technically not a subsidy, its letting them keep more of their own money, but it has the same effect as a subsidy) to open new stores.
