Wrong... Ok I was wrong you're not a smart guy. I respect the deeply held religious beliefs of others....as I expect them to respect my lack of faith. Sorry buddy you ain't going to get that on this thread from either side. What I see from Solon and others here is a kind of bigotry I do not find attractive. The bigotry and name calling goes both ways so you obviously haven't seen much with your 17 posts on this thread none of which were on the topic of Evolution. siliconinvestor.com

I think the old self righteous fool got a good deal more than he expected here & can see how he could use a little time off. Its an evolution thread, he wants to continuously inject his so called "superior" religion & magic into the mix, then its fair game to be examined in the same historical & factual light as any other human cultural phenomenon & emergent grouping with critical eyes. Am perfectly willing to respect the right to beliefs, but not to be in return labeled "lib", atheist & antisemite by the sanctimonious old dick when only pointing out some true histories, there were very good reasons for that early proto-Christian Jewish cult trying to distance itself from their orthodox stiff necked bretheren bent on self destruction. To see the ploys so many of these same simple minded know-it-all idiots did back then & still do today, using similar offensive condemnation, suppression & avoidance propaganda tactics stemming from an assumed holy rolling position of superiority. ( Not to mention the avoidance issues, cherry picking history, forgetting all the misery these superstitions directly caused while remaining such issues & cause for contention by fundmentalists in the world today, who needs the added grief? )

As for shady, that intuition works both ways, seeing enough decades go by to have experienced enough abundant examples of hypocrisy, enough time to know how the game goes & ignorant indoctrinated pricks like brumar try to play their superior morality cards. While themselves producing some of the greatest harm, this self righteous "silent majority" dragging so far behind the times, playing to a plethora of the same hot button issues caused by that closed minded ignorance these closet materialists seem adapted to maintaining so well. By their own admission they are imperfect & sinners, not very bright, perhaps they should try start cleaning up their own houses first before entering into the arenas casting the first stones?

That is a cute parry! You almost sound reasonable in your attempt to fool and mislead! The truth is that this thread has nought to do with respecting superstitious beliefs. Indeed, it expressly serves to protect and to promote the pre-eminence of Science as a world view and as a tool for human progress. As you conveniently ignore and evade, rational humanity is besieged by hordes of primitives who would undermine Science and Reason and prevent the education of our youth. By making this battle (between Reason and Fundamentalism) an issue of prejudice rather than an issue of human dignity, morality, and progress...you undermine the efforts of decent people everywhere to create a saner world where assholes do not fly planes into buildings to glorify their imagined superiority. We don't need "Chosen People" on this thread, fella. And in any event, they can do their pirouettes on a thousand threads where make believe is considered an attractive moral quality rather than a severe human defect. This thread is a place to defend our Science texts and to ridicule the absurd ideas of those STUPID people (like Brumar)--those shallow and offensive people who do their pimp-walking strut of moral superiority based on their abject ignorance. And for you to inject yourself into this while feigning an objective moral impartiality...when everyone knows you are simply here to mindlessly support your STUPID buddy whom you call "Bruce"--well THAT is something I find disturbing.
