The Constitution was specifically designed and written to protect the People from over reaching and over growing government, that the People would not be ruled by the government with laws, rules, regulations, mandates, and so on... the government is supposed to fear the People, not that the People should fear the government as it is today... very sadly, the United States no longer exists in the form as the Founders had originally designed... and it will no longer exist in any recognizable form within another 50 to 100 years if things continue as they are... The more we understand history, the more we understand our place in history today... how could we know where we're going if we don't know where we've been... GZ
