I always thought the Lost Coast was the end of the Earth in CA. It always amazed me that such beautiful coastline hadn't been developed, but it's really many miles from the nearest mall or hospital. No one plunked down and made a city there. I drove all over it looking at RE, but decided I didn't want to live that far from any city.
