Well, at least we were only downgraded to a hold, neutral, and long-term buy. Good thing they weren't screaming SELL, although I doubt that would have made things much worse. 1. Genesis reiterated strong buy on October 28 with a $75 price target saying they continue to sell all the product from the New Jersey facility. Then 2. Genesis lowers to long-term buy due to "uncertainty surrounding the company's ability to manage the transition from one production facility to two facilities." They didn't mention lowering the price target, did they?!?!?!? Also 1. Cohen upgrades to buy from speculative buy on December 1 and sets a price target of $50.50 due to approval to market MUSE in the UK. Then 2. Cohen dowgrades to hold due to "company's announcement that it will fall significantly short of fourth quarter production goals due to efforts to expand production." Also "Bossey noted that the company may continue to be plagued by production capacity limitations well into second quarter 1998." Again, no lowering of the price target?!?!?!?!?!? Boy, these guys are real smart!!!! If they are paid to do this, then I would make one heck of an analyst!!!! Ed
