Add in dominance and global overreach of the MIC crowding out the private sector and American's becoming lazier and entitled each generation. Lots in common with Rome which didn't have the ethnic tensions we do. I don't think the KIDS are going to save us Koan. Big divide between the few go getters and everybody else in Gen Y as some raised in the internet age leverage the tools available to them while most don't and are slackers.. I'll take the work ethic of someone born in 1955,1965 or 1975 over 1985 any day of the week..
