spoke to HMTT IR again today some relevant points:

a) "we are on target; inventory & capacity are maxxed out, working 24 hours a day to fill demand that we have"
b) "we supply wdc's high-end line and haven't seen much slack there either"
c) "we've only had to make very minor pricing adjustments, but nothing that will adversely affect our internal targets"
d) "quantum and maxtor continue to do well from our perspective and show no weakening"
e) "no slack in demand from samsung"

I asked if what the CEO stated during conference call was still correct, i.e., his statment "we've never seen so much business in the channel", and they affirmed that it was

I asked if what was happening at Seagate was affecting their bottom line and they stated no.

All, this was posted on HMTT thread (sorry for not putting a link, not sure how to do that). I find a couple of items noteworthy: 1) not much slack in WDC's high end line and 2)Quantum & Maxtor continue to do well. Are these aleady known facts? Can anyone add to this? I'm not sure what to make of it, if anything.
