Well, the conference call sounded good with DLT growing 100%, but high-end HD business looks like it will get worse before it gets better. Surprise was that DLT sales were flat this quarter due to transition from DLT2000/4000 to 7000, with orders reduced for the lower end models on anticipation of higher end, and 7000 not growing fast enough to offset reduction in sales of 2000/4000.
They said they see no competition for DLT for the next 12 months.
They announced 10% cutback in DD output.
From the sound of it though, I estimate next quarter's earnings will just be slightly better than this quarter...

Now I know somebody knew something a long time ago, which I didn't know an hour ago. Period.

john, you said >Seriously though I don't see QNTM trading below $20 tomorrow, based on the DLT income stream going forward.<

COMS warned about a week ago and most people on the thread
prepared for the worst. The stock dropped hard the next am,
then recovered and trades now as if nothing had happened.
(except for the general market woes).

QNTM has been beaten down AS IF it had warned weeks ago.
Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised tomorrow.
