The restrictions are aimed at closing a widening current account deficit I call BS on that. I think they are facing heavy pressure from the West, who have little or no gold left to supply to the market and thereby continue to keep prices from exploding higher. China is already putting heavy pressure on supply as well as other Eastern nations. The West has some influence over India's Western friendly government, unlike China and other nations. My thoughts, awwwwwww, good luck with that. Drugs are illegal over most of the planet...it doesn't stop the flow and use of illicit drugs. Nor will this government stop the flow of gold all they'll do is drive further underground.
