The Dow, inflation by the Federal Reserve. Unemployment..people gave up looking for work GDP growth...huh? Deficit to GDP? Need to be watching National Debt including unfunded liabilities to GDP. Consumer confidence is actually higher than you state, it's at 78 as of December. Believe you? I don't think so.
