Exactly… "keep an eye on" (AlQueada)… not run around with drones killing them and whoever else happens to get in the way… unless the locals ask us to. Agreement about the above among leftwing dens and libertarian republicans is one of the important occurrences in politics IMHO. I dunno what is gonna happen, but it will be interesting to watch. The other huge and more obvious change has mostly to do with the Republican party and reminds me of a quote from the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu: "If you want to eliminate something, you must deliberately let it flourish;" This interesting quote is playing itself out right now in the RwingNut population right now. Our great system allows quite a wide spectrum of expression, compared to more closed societies where a lot of the crazy BS you see Limbaugh and his ilk spew would be repressed. But in our great country people can get away with saying all sorts of crap, like Obama is privately funding Muslim groups, liberals are trying to ruin the country, unions are evil, one of the above is gonna take all the guns away, and all the other complete crap that gets spewed. So over time, most of the population has seen how crazy these RwingNutz are… and the country is now begun the process of moving sharply away from them. By allowing them to be crazy and put all the craziness on the air for all to see… "allowing the RwingNut rash to express itself" so to speak, has cured he country of it… the next generation will look back and read all about it and chuckle about the ignorance of the whole thing, like they read about Joe McCarthey and he attorney general I just linked…. We truly do have a quite good system... DAK
